Up river

Comments:
This picture is an up river view of the Maribyrnong River along the west bank, here the rowing club boat ramp and Fischer Parade Bridge can be seen in the background. Local land uses included ammunition and explosives factories and a rubbish dump all now closed. The land upstream was decontaminated and is now residential with a local University adjacent to the site. Our school occupies an old Quarry site used to quarry bluestone, once a local industry.
