This is a picture of an oak leaf with some acorns that are starting to grow. It is on the same tree as the tree we were standing at in the picture of our group. This tree is about 20 years old. There are new leaves on the tree.

This is a picture of some oak leaves on the oak tree in the church yard that is in the village of Landscove next to Landscove C of E primary School. The oak tree is just in leaf because the leaves are new and lime green.

The picture I chose is of the beech tree when it is in leaf and its flowers have burst. This beech was planted in Landscove grave yard. As a group we measured the height and girth of the tree.
