Genus: Stjerneblomslekta (Stellaria)





Stjerneblom-slekten har omkring 120 arter som er utbredt over nesten hele verden. I Norge har vi 13 arter. De vanligste er grasstjerneblom og vassarve. Plantene i denne slekten er ett- eller flerårige. Blomstene er hvite, stjerneforma og femtallige. De 5 kronbladene er kløvd nesten helt ned til bunnen slik at det ser ut som de har 10 kronblad.
